Welcome. I’m happy to see you here.

McKenzie Haenke, CSWA
Clinical Social Worker Associate
I am McKenzie, a Clinical Social Worker Associate.
“The human soul doesn’t want to be advised or fixed or saved. It simply wants to be witnessed — exactly as it is” (Parker Palmer).
I have been a therapist for about 5 years now, and while I’m always learning and growing (and will always be a student of life!) this is something I have observed to be true: people heal and grow in the presence of love. I have learned different healing techniques (such as CBT, EMDR, Reiki, and meditation and I believe all of these are quite helpful depending on the person and where they are at on their journey), but I have come to believe that the most important ingredient for transformation is a container of wholehearted acceptance and love, which in turn creates self-love, self-acceptance, and healing within the client.
When someone’s experience is truly accepted, loved, and witnessed without any shame or judgement, healing naturally occurs. This is truly beautiful to watch, and while I never know exactly how your healing will unfold, it is a joy and privilege to hold space for your transformation with care, curiosity, and a deep respect for your unique path.
When helpful, I offer guidance, skills, and insights to help bring awareness to the conscious and unconscious beliefs and behaviors that may be hindering your path. But above all, my main goal as a therapist is to empower you to be your own healer, to continuously give your power back to you, and to help you access the love, light, and wisdom within yourself.
It’s important to note that I often approach therapy from a spiritual and energetic lens. The spiritual path is a beautiful one filled with love, expansion, and many magical moments, but it can also be filled with grief, confusion, loneliness, and overwhelm. I would be honored to walk this path with you, to help you feel less alone, and to help you make sense of this wild human experience!
