I am Becca, a Clinical Social Worker Associate.

Welcome! My name is Rebecca, and I’m a mental health therapist at Positive Inner Self, offering individual counseling and behavioral health therapy. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, PTSD, and grief, especially those who are feeling ready and motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives. My approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, and I believe deeply in the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.

As an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician, I create a safe, inclusive space where all identities are respected and valued. I take an eclectic and holistic approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based therapies to meet your unique needs. These include EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Attachment Theory, the Dual Process Model of Grief, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
