Therapist, Qualified Mental Health Professional

I am Katierose, a Qualified Mental Health Professional in Oregon.

Hello, my name is Katierose, and I am a social worker with nearly nine years of experience providing mental health support. I currently work with Positive Inner Self, offering compassionate, client-centered therapy in a collaborative and respectful environment. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, I relocated to Oregon in late 2022 and have enjoyed building meaningful connections within this community.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults, and I specialize in supporting individuals navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. I believe therapy should feel safe, supportive, and tailored to your unique needs. My approach is grounded in meeting you where you are while helping you move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being.

My Experience

Living in today’s world can feel overwhelming, and many people find themselves feeling stuck, exhausted, or disconnected from their sense of self. My role is to walk alongside you as you develop practical coping strategies and a deeper understanding of how your thoughts, emotions, and environment interact. I take a strengths-based, person-in-environment approach, focusing on the skills and resilience you already have while helping you build new tools to support your growth.

I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related concerns. My approach is grounded in CBT and DBT, with integration of ACT, family systems, and trauma-informed care. Using a strengths-based lens, I help you build practical coping skills, emotional regulation, healthy boundaries, and self-compassion for everyday life.

I strive to bring warmth, authenticity, and compassion into each session, and when appropriate, a gentle sense of humor. I place strong emphasis on healthy boundaries, self-compassion, and creating a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

You do not have to navigate this alone. I would be honored to support you as you work toward healing, insight, and meaningful change.

Initially, we will meet to discuss your concerns and ensure that I am a good fit for your needs. We will review the presenting issues and develop a treatment plan that meets your and your family’s needs.
